Shrewsbury International School was established in 2003. It sits on the banks of the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, Thailand. Although it is an independent school, it is closely affiliated to Shrewsbury School in the UK. The School reflects, replicates and achieves the high quality of education offered by its British sister school.
The school is divided into 3 schools: Pre prep school, Prep school, Senior school and follows the British curriculum.

Shrewsbury International School was founded in 2003. The current Principal is Mr Stephen Holroyd who arrived at Shrewsbury International School in 2006. Mr Holroyd worked at Shrewsbury School in the UK for 20 years first as an English teacher and rising to be Deputy Master before his appointment to the Bangkok School.
Shrewsburys International School is famous for its pursuit of musical excellence. The music programme is led by Director of Music Mr Jonathan Ling (an almunus of Shrewsbury School) and Director of Choral Music Mr Mark Stingle. The programme of concerts during the year includes the Musics Scholars Concert, Last Night of the Proms and a range of Junior and Senior recitals. Musical talent is nurtureds and supported through a Scholarship programme.
Drama productions in recent years have included: Bugsy Malone, Little Shop of Horrors, Threepenny Opera, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The current Head of Drama is Mr Steven Fry. Drama is taught to GCSE and A level.
